Ron Strandin
Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development
Ron Strandin is an accomplished manager of company growth, with more than two decades of experience at driving the success of technology companies, including selling to the hospital market. At Talyst, he is responsible for directing three key avenues of growth: the direct sales force, channel partners and business development. He is also responsible for strategic market planning including product management.
Accomplishing sales of innovative enterprise software products has been a recurring theme in Strandin’s career. For Rendition Networks, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales, he directed a tenfold increase in revenue from the TrueControl configuration management software package. The company was then acquired by Opsware for a healthy multiple.
Prior to that, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Envision, he headed a sales team of 35 people who caused revenue to grow twelve-fold in the category of workforce optimization software.
At Mosaix, which specializes in customer relationship management software, Strandin was Vice President of Worldwide Sales, after serving as vice president of customer management applications. Both roles were focused on direct sales, dealer channels, VAR relationships and solution partners. For Digital Systems, which became part of Mosaix, he advanced through a progression of roles in sales and marketing management.
At Lanier Worldwide, Strandin managed regional sales to the medical and legal markets, in both the United States and Canada.
He holds a B.A. in business administration from Western Washington University.
